[XB] Paid Registration

[XB] Paid Registration [Paid] 2.0.4

You must log in or register to purchase ($30.00)
Hello, I've just bought the addon. Where can I find some instructions to set it up on my forum?
After installation, you only need to determine which types of upgrades will be displayed by adding them in "User customization -> Paid registration account types". And if you want to make registration on the forum paid only, disable regular user type and enable the "Force account type selection" option.

I've installed everything an it seems to work. Have you any suggestion to test the complete procedure without paying? I'm using Paypal. Do I need to create a sandbox with Paypal or maybe the addon has a test feature?
You can use test payment provider:
Don't forget to turn it off afterwards.

Can you explain what is this feature "Enable "Writing before registering" notice on account types page"?
XF has a setting that allows guests to create content that will be published after registration.
Usually, a notification is displayed on the registration page. This can be disabled so that it does not appear on the account type selection page.

I don't know if this can be done with your addon.

Basically I'd like to create a sort of trial registration that last 30 days. After 30 days, the user can decide to cancel or sign up for a full year and pay the annual fee minus the amount already paid for the 30 days.

Do you think that's possible in some way?

Maybe I need to put my IP in the specific field?
Yes, you need to specify your IP address in the payment gateway settings, otherwise access will only be allowed for localhost.

The add-on wasn't designed for this, but I'll see what can be done here.

But I think here you can simply allow free registrations and use “User group promotions” to move users who registered 30 days ago and are not members of paid groups to a user group where they only have access to the paid upgrades purchase page.

Hello,

We are having an issue because members who already upgraded still see the option to upgrade, so users are ending up with more than one subscription. How can we hide the upgrade button if they are already a member?

Thanks, Jerry

It already does. For users who already have the upgrade, the button becomes inactive.

I tried adding a PayPal badge icon, but it doesn’t show up on the account type card. It only appears in the XenForo ACP, like this:

try with another FA code but still doesn't appear on front account type:

Sorry for late response

This icon only exists in the fab (brands) variation, so it is not displayed without a modifier.

Regarding the display issue in the cards, please ensure that you have not made any changes to the original templates.

For me, its functioning correctly here.
