Better Organization & More Control!​

This update adds shared categories for tours and hints, expands floating launcher customization, and improves dismissed tour management for both members and guests.

New Features​

• Added shared categories for tours and hints.
• Added an optional draggable floating launcher with browser-local position persistence and double-click reset.
• Added separate desktop and mobile style properties for positioning the floating launcher.
• Added an option to hide the floating launcher when no tours or hints match the current page.
• Added an option to hide each empty Tours or Hints item from the floating menu independently.
• Added a personal Account preferences action to reset dismissed tours.
• Added session-only dismissed tour tracking for guests.
• Added XenForo phrases for tour navigation and hint confirmation button labels.
• Added an ACP element picker that generates a unique CSS selector directly from a public page.
• Added selector validation with saved match status, automatic rechecks on target pages visited by administrators, check dates, list indicators, and broken-selector filters.

Bug Fixes​

• Fixed the element picker highlight being offset from the selected element.
• Fixed tour and hint JavaScript configuration not being applied correctly, causing Intro.js defaults to be used and auto-start tours to reappear for guests after dismissal.
• Fixed dismissed multi-step tours appearing again after a page reload or navigation.
• Fixed Tours and Hints account preferences not being saved.
• Fixed the Intro.js step counter wrapping outside the tooltip and hidden it for single-step tours.

Better Tours, Smarter Hints:​

This update modernizes hint and tour content, introduces scheduling and per-member visibility controls, adds multi-page tour support, and updates the underlying Intro.js integration. It also includes XML import/export tools and several fixes for reliability, rendering, and ACP management

New Features:​

• Added full BB code rendering for hint and tour messages, with multi-language content and per-language attachment support
• Added Legacy HTML option to preserve the appearance of existing hint and tour messages after upgrading
• Added a Reset seen status action to ACP hint and tour edit pages, allowing administrators to show an item again to all members
• Added XML import and export support for hints
• Added XML import and export support for tours
• Added an Automatically start this tour option for individual tours
• Added optional start and end dates for hints and tours
• Added a Next page URL option for creating multi-page tours
• Added per-member seen and dismissed tracking for hints and tours

• Reorganized ACP tour and hint routes under the Tours and Hints section
• Moved Tours and Hints visibility preferences into Account preferences content options
• Updated the bundled Intro.js library from 2.9.3 to 8.5.0
• Migrated hint and tour user_criteria and page_criteria storage from PHP-serialized arrays to JSON arrays
• Added automatic migration of existing stored criteria during upgrade
• Minified JavaScript files when the add-on is running in production

Bug Fixes:​

• Fixed automatically started tours reopening after a member dismissed or completed them
• Fixed tour display scrolling the page to focus the Next/Done button even when scrollToElement was disabled
• Fixed hint and tour messages or element identifiers containing double quotes breaking generated JavaScript
• Fixed ACP hint and tour list footer counters not receiving total item counts
• Fixed page parameters not working for hints or tours
